Akron Police and the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office are trying to identify the body of a woman found dead in the 900 block of Valdes Avenue, not far from where it intersects with Copley Road, in West Akron.
Akron Police say a woman who lives nearby notified them yesterday afternoon about 4:30, that she had found the body. When they arrived, they say the deceased woman did not appear to have suffered any trauma. Now, they're looking for tips to help them identify her.
