Cheers to Ohio Beer, whose 420 breweries brought in $1.2 billion dollars to the state economy last year. 

That’s the news from the Ohio Craft Brewers Association which released their 2022 Fiscal Impact report for Ohio’s brewers. Ohio’s booming craft beer industry produced more than 1.2 million barrels of beer last year and employed over 12,000 people.

The Ohio Capital Journal reports that craft beer continues to be a growing industry in the state with the number of breweries increasing almost 18% over the last 2 years. Nationally, Ohio ranks 6th in craft beer production and 6th in economic impact.
