A  drive by shooting on I-76 near State Route 21 in Norton claimed the life of an as yet unidentified 40 year old man last evening (Wednesday, May 17) at about 5:35, and the Summit County Medical Examiner's office is calling it a homicide.
 
They say the man was driving on on I-76 Eastbound, and crashed his car into a median, after getting hit by gunshots fired by an unknown assailant who was in another vehicle. After the crash, EMS took the man to the hospital, where he died about an hour later.

Now, Norton Police are investigating, and the identity of the victim will be released once his identity is established, and his family is notified.
