COVID-19 is still spreading rapidly worldwide, with new cases popping up at an alarming rate in China, for example, and even right here in Northeast Ohio, where some counties have such a high rate of spread, that they're listed in the CDC's high level, "Red" category.
That's not the case yet, here in Summit County, where we're still listed as Yellow, or "moderate" spread.
But, exactly what is spreading, is different from even just a few months ago. It is the new more contagious Omicron X-BB 1.5 COVID variant, and Ray Horner talked about it this week with Summa Health Infectious Disease Specialist, Dr. Thomas File.
