The long arm of the law reached out this morning, and nabbed Jason Lyle Conrad, the Summit County Jail inmate who escaped Sheriff's Deputies when they took him to a doctor's appointment Tuesday, at Summa, White Pond Health Center.

US Marshals and their Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, including local police, and the State Highway Patrol aviation unit; found Conrad riding a bike on some train tracks near the intersection of Aqueduct St. and Market St. in Akron this morning, and now he is back behind bars.

Conrad escaped yesterday morning while being moved from transport vehicle. He was handcuffed and wearing a boot from a previous injury, at the time.

Now he's back in custody facing charges of willfully fleeing, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, and a parole violation.
