Two Stark County high school students will soon face criminal charges after being caught on video bullying a fellow student with special needs.

The Canal Fulton Police Department released a statement on Monday saying that charges are forthcoming against the two Northwest High School students involved in the April 24th incident. A portion of the alleged bullying was caught on cell phone video and shared with other students.

Police say that an investigation into the alleged harassment of the student was completed by the school resource officer who also consulted with the Stark County Juvenile Court to determine appropriate criminal charges, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
