Broadcaster Tom Hamilton Previews Shortened Indians Season

Written by
Due to the COVID-19 delay and game time temperatures nearing 80, it certainly does not feel like opening day for baseball. But on July 24th, the Cleveland Indians will be set to start their truncated season against the Kansas City Royals.

The long-time voice of the Tribe, Tom Hamilton, made time for the Ray Horner Morning Show about ten hours prior to the first pitch. Hamilton touched on the challenges the team may and will face during the shortened season, though admits the Indians’ pitching has the advantage for the push into the expanded playoffs.

Every pitch of this Indians season can be heard on WAKR, both on 93.5 FM and 1590 AM.
