Akron police say they think it was the same robber who passed notes to clerks demanding money at two local discount stores yesterday (Wed., Dec. 8); getting away with some cash from one, but leaving empty-handed after the clerk refused to comply, at the other.
The stores involved were both on Arlington Street--Family Dollar at 19 North Arlington, and Dollar General, at 1356 South Arlington.
