About 2:45 Thursday afternoon a 911 call about a white Acura across lanes of I-77 South near the Arlington Road exit. By the time dupties responded, the driver had driven the vehicle off the highway, down and embankment, through a fence, eventually coming to rest on, or rather INTO the Summa Health campus, into a room being occupied by a patient and her husband, both who sustained minor injuries.

The driver, who hasn't been identified other than that he's 37 and from Canton, was arrested, but taken to Akron City Hospital for treatment.

Summit County Sheriff's Inspector Bill Holland adds that there was what is believed to be drugs in the car.
