Cleveland Indians - Guardians superfan John Adams, whose drum beat echoed at Cleveland baseball games for nearly 50 years, is now the 12th member of the Guardians Distinguished Hall of Fame.
A plaque has been installed on the back wall of the bleechers above John's longtime seat at Progressive Field and a bronzed drum will forever stand in Heritage Park at the Guardians home field.
Over 48 seasons, John only missed a handful of Cleveland home games, but in recent years has been unable to be there due to health issues. The Guardians announced the honor for Adams yesterday:
