Akron Police are asking residents along Sumner Street to come forward with any information about someone who fired multiple shots into a home in the 800 block last night.

According to the police report, the shooting happened about 9:30 p.m.

The resident of the home said several bullets went through the front wall of the house, near where her three children, ages 9, 11, and 16, were in the downstairs. No one was injured in the shooting, and police have no leads as of this morning.
