This week's athletes are from Copley High School.
Kate Young is a senior. She is a 4-year letter winner on the girls soccer team and a member of the 2022 state championship soccer team. She has won multiple Suburban League soccer honors and all -district recognitions. Kate currently has a 4.5 GPA and is a member of Copley High School's National Honor Society. Kate also participates in Copley High School's concert band. Kate plans to attend Walsh University next year where she will continue her soccer career.
Matthew Luecke is a senior and a 4-year letter winner on the boys soccer team. This year Matthew has 15 goals and 3 assists. Matthew has won several suburban league honors including 1st team all-suburban league in 2022 and all-greater Akron 1st team. Matthew has a 4.3 GPA and is a member of Copley High School's national honor society.
