Ohio Issue One Defeated Featured

Written by
With most votes counted;  Issue One, which would have made it harder to get constitutional ammendments passed in Ohio, was defeated by a margin of 57 percent, to 43 percent.

The issue was seen both here in Ohio and nationwide, as an effort to keep voters from being able to approve a constitutional ammendment in November, that if passed; would protect a woman's right to choose an abortion.

The Columbus Dispatch reports Issue One went down in flames not only in heavily Democratic districts, but also in some Republican strongholds such as Delaware county North of Columbus, and Mahoning County, which was once a solid Blue Collar Democrat area, but which swung right to support former President Donald Trump.
