The Summit County Medical Examiner is investigating an apparent murder-suicide at a home in Akron’s Highland Square neighborhood.

They say police doing a welfare check at 7:30 this morning, found two people dead; 26 year old Elliot Hareem Altesa, and 44 year old Jessica Leigh Violand of Elyria.

Both were shot in the head, with the cause of death for Violand listed as Homicide, and for Altesa; as Suicide.
