One bank robber down; one to go, as US Marshals have arrested 35 year old Darrel D. Moore, who Akron Police have been seeking in connection with an armed robbery at the PNC Bank branch at 676 E. Wilbeth Road, last Monday, April 21. He has been charged with Aggravated Robbery.

The other suspect involved, who authorities have not yet identified, has still not been captured, and they’re still offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

In a statement released today, Akron Police Lt. Michael Murphy said “We’d like to thank the U.S. Marshals Service and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task
Force for their continued support and partnership. This arrest highlights the value ofcollaboration which has led to enhancing public safety in Akron. We continue to seek thecommunity’s help in identifying the second suspect. Any information, no matter how small,could be the key to solving this case.”
