Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized more than $6 million worth of cocaine during a traffic stop in Madison County.
Troopers say they stopped a semi-truck with Arizona registration on Interstate 70 near London on Jan. 23 for a commercial vehicle inspection. After observing criminal indicators, a drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle. A search revealed 154 pounds of cocaine hidden inside cabinets in the trailer.
The driver, Omar Gonzalez-Flores, 46, of Ecatepec, Mexico, was taken into custody and charged with possession of drugs, a first-degree felony. He is being held at the Tri-County Regional Jail.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says troopers seized more than 1,600 pounds of cocaine statewide in 2025.
