Don’t you just hate it when something expensive breaks, and you either have to replace it , or spend a fortune on repairs?

If so; you’re not alone, and there are a whole lot of people nationwide who feel the same way-including President Biden, who took action recently to help enable consumers’ “Right to Repair”.

Find out more, through audio clips from a recent Federal Trade Commission meeting, where they unanimously agreed to step up law enforcement efforts against manufacturers who are purposely, and illegally preventing consumers from either making repairs on their own, or at least having a choice about who makes the repairs for them.

We’re also talking to a local D-I-Y repair enthusiast, Chris Bennett, from Akron Makerspace, about why he thinks there also need to be state laws passed in Ohio to address the issue.
