Summit County residents with questions about SNAP and Medicaid changes can get answers at a community forum on Monday, Jan. 12.

The Summit County Department of Job and Family Services, along with the City of Barberton, will host the event from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Active Adult Center, 500 W. Hopocan Avenue in Barberton.

Officials will walk through recent and upcoming changes to SNAP and Medicaid, explain how those changes may affect families, and share tips for managing benefits and finding support. Other local service providers will also be on hand with information and resources.

The forum is free and open to the public.
