Craft beer fans can raise a glass to a milestone year as the 10th annual Summit Brew Path officially launched Saturday (Jan. 3), marking a decade of celebrating local breweries across Summit County.

Created by the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Summit Brew Path has grown into a signature experience that highlights the county’s vibrant craft beer scene. This anniversary edition invites participants to explore 18 local breweries throughout 2026, with special surprises planned to celebrate the Brew Path’s 10-year run.

Participants can get started by picking up a printed passport at any participating brewery or by using a digital passport at summitbrewpath.com. To earn a stamp, visitors must stop at each brewery and make a purchase. The Brew Path is open to adults 21 and older.

Those who complete all 18 stops and submit their passport will be entered to win one of three cash prizes:

Golden Growler: $1,000
Silver Stein: $500
Pint Prize: $250

Everyone who finishes the path will also get an invitation to the 2026 Summit Brew Path Bash, a private celebration featuring tastings from participating breweries, prize giveaways, food, games, and more.

According to ASCVB President and CEO Gregg Mervis, the Brew Path’s success is rooted in strong community support. In 2025 alone, more than 1,700 completed passports were submitted, and over 1,600 people attended the Brew Path Bash.
