This week’s athletes are from Garfield CLC.
Sifa Mulunda is a wrestler for Garfield CLC. She is in her senior year and has a grade point average of 3.7. Her favorite subject in school is language arts because English is her second language. When she is not being an exemplary student athlete in wrestling and tennis, she is working a part time job at McDonald’s. Sifa plans on attending Kent State University and majoring in Nursing.
Brima Barry, a starter on the boys basketball team, is a senior at Garfield CLC. He holds a GPA of 3.5 and enjoys his language arts class the most this year. Brima also plays football and has his own Tik Tok channel brima.heem, that he is very passionate about. He plans on attending college in the fall to play basketball and major in Business.
