The Student Athlete of the Week segment is powered by NECA-IBEW and Akron Children’s Hospital.

This week’s athletes are from Stow-Monroe Falls High School.

Samantha Tokar as a junior, a two time state qualifier for gymnastics, and a state qualifier in diving. She has also earned all-conference and all-district honors, has earned Suburban League Athlete of the Month, and has been nominated twice for the Suburban League Gymnast of the Year. Samantha is a great athlete, student, leader, and person.

 

Robert Davis is a senior on the wrestling team. He is currently 39-0 on the season. Robert placed 5th in OHSAA state tournament last year. He is a 2x sectional champ and a district champ. He currently has 134 wins in his high school career. He heads to Columbus this weekend to compete in his third and final State Championship.
