The Student Athlete of the Week segment is powered by NECA-IBEW and Akron Children’s Hospital.
This week’s athletes are from Archbishop Hoban High School.
Mary Hottinger is a four-year letterwinner for the Hoban girls volleyball team. This past fall, she helped the Knights to a 26-1 record and a regional runner-up finish. She has played a key role on teams that have gone undefeated in the regular season for two straight years. Mary also maintains a 4.3 GPA and is an important member in many Hoban extracurricular activities. She serves as a student ambassador and peer mentor, and is a member of Student Council and National Honor Society. Mary is a vital part of the Hoban Family and the Class of 2025.
Daniel Bisesi is a three-year letterwinner on the boys soccer team at Hoban, and was a team captain this past season. He is also a letterwinner in track and field, as well as lacrosse. Amid his busy schedule, Daniel maintains a 4.3 GPA and is the co-President of Student Council. He is also a student ambassador, a peer mentor, and participates in Med Club. Daniel is a valued member of the Hoban Family and the Class of 2025.
