Governor Mike DeWine announced the approval of six economic development projects statewide, including two major expansions in Northeast Ohio expected to create 150 new jobs and generate millions in new investment.

The projects were approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority and are supported by JobsOhio and regional partners. Statewide, the six projects will create 348 new jobs, retain 243 positions, and generate more than $56 million in new investments.

In Cuyahoga County, CSA America Testing & Certification plans to add 97 jobs through an expansion in Brecksville and Independence, growing its U.S. headquarters and research operations. Meanwhile, Rupes USA is expanding in Solon, adding 53 new jobs by purchasing a new facility to support manufacturing, training, and distribution.

State officials say the projects highlight northeast Ohio’s role as a hub for advanced manufacturing, research, and testing. The approved tax credits are designed to support long-term job growth and increased payroll across the region.
