You can give your garden a stylish boost this spring, with plants from Akron’s historic Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.

Their annual spring plant sale starts on May 17, and runs through June 1, with a wide variety of perennials grown from plants in the historic Great Garden. Succulents, tropicals, baskets and annuals are also available.

The Plant Sale is located near the Corbin Conservatory during the first weekend, May 17-18. From May 20-June 1 (closed Mondays), the plant sale is in the Carriage House Courtyard.

There is no admission for guests who are shopping at the Plant Sale and/or Molly’s and not taking a tour.

Molly’s is open Tuesday-Sunday (closed Monday) from 10 am-5 pm, and the estate is open for tours from 10 am – 6pm. Last entry to the estate is 4 pm.

Stan Hywet Manor House spring

Open April through December, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is one of the most important remaining examples of an American Country Estate built during the Industrial Age at the turn of the twentieth century. Stan Hywet was the home of F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, and his family.
