Snow parking bans will be in effect from late Saturday night into early next week in cities throughout Northeast Ohio.

Residents are urged to move their vehicles off the streets to make way for snow plows, with the possibility of tickets and/or towing, if they don’t.

Some announced so far in the Akron area include:

Barberton: Saturday, January 24 . 11:00PM,  through Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 11:00PM.

Cuyahoga Falls:  Saturday, January 24, 10:00PM through Wed. January 28, 9:00AM.

Akron:  Monday, January 26, 7:00 AM, “until further notice”.
