A 38 year old man is charged with several crimes including murder and felonious assault, after allegedly killing his girlfriend, and injuring her brother in East Akron on Saturday.

Police say Gregory Tillman stabbed, then shot Rebeccca Lee Guthrie, and that he that he also shot her brother, who survived the attack.

It happened in the in the 500 block of Miles Avenue in Akron, allegedly after a fight between Guthrie and Tillman, who reportedly fled the scene, but was found and arrested, shortly after the shooting.
