A clerk who fell asleep during the overnight shift at a local smoke shop is in the hospital now, recovering from gunshot wounds, after he was rudely awakened by three suspects who threw a rock through the front window, and shot him in the leg.
But, police say when the 20 year old clerk woke up; he returned fire, before the suspects fled the Red Eye Smoke Shop, in the 1600 block of Brittain Road.
Now, Akron Police are asking for tips.
