Student Athletes of the Week: Colleen Bauer & Carter Noel Featured

This week's athletes are from Copley High School.

 

Colleen is a junior defender and three-year starter for the Copley girls’ soccer team, ranked #1 in the state all year. The Copley girls have scored 96 goals this season while conceding only one. Colleen has played an integral role in allowing only 1 goal on the season and shutting out the last 16 opponents, both school records. She is determined, ruthless, tough, and disciplined as the center back on the field. Colleen has a contagious energy, forcing those around her to exceed expectations. She is an excellent student-athlete who gets it done on the field and in the classroom, carrying a 4.15 accumulative GPA.

Carter Noel is a 4-year letter winner for the Varsity Football Team at Copley High School.  He has been voted Captain for the past 2 seasons.  Carter is a model student who takes numerous AP and Honors level courses.  He has been instrumental in leading many volunteer activities within the school and with the football team. Carter is regarded among his teachers as a leader at the high school. Carter is also a four year varsity letterwinner for the boys lacrosse team. Carter currently has a 4.4 GPA.
