A bright future could be in the works in America, with a sense of normalcy on the horizon with the ramping up of vaccines. However, the same cannot be said for other areas of the world, including India. Dr. Hazel Barton is a microbiologist at the University of Akron, and she joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to talk about how hard India is getting his with the COVID-19 variant. India being a country that did relatively well in 2020 is now getting blasted with high cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in the spring. Dr. Barton also touched on the relaxing of some mask measures by the CDC.
