Dr. Rob McGregor Discusses COVID-19 in Children, Teens Featured

Plenty has been discussed about the effects of COVID-19 with the elderly and infirmed, but what about the children and teenagers?

Dr. Rob McGregor is the chief medical officer at Akron Children’s Hospital, and he joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to discuss the findings medical professionals are seeing with this virus in kids. Total, Dr. McGregor says Akron Children’s Hospital has only admitted 28 kids with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, though there have been a number of children who have been symptomatic yet weren’t sick enough to go see their doctor.

Dr. McGregor warned the listeners about Halloween parties, gatherings, and even trick-or-treating, which could lead to an even more increased spread through children. He feels kids will still need to wear a mask even if they are wearing a Halloween mask.
