:17 - It will not be a typical Memorial Day anywhere, from COVID-19 to social distancing. Some will do Zoom meet-ups, while others will celebrate the holiday in person but at a distance with personal and disposable utensils. Donna Skoda is the health commissioner in Summit County, and she shared tips on how to celebrate Memorial Day safely, especially with restaurants and other businesses reopening.

9:29 - Akron, like the rest of Ohio, will see a continued roll-out of indoor restaurants, on top of other businesses and retail. The question is how a town with as many citizens can do this in the safest manner possible. Akron mayor Dan Horrigan joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to urge the listeners to continue social distancing during this new phase, and how his city keeps adapting as he and his cabinet learns more about the virus. Another topic point was the enforcement of social distancing inside the restaurants and pubs, to which Horrigan feels that most citizens will self-enforce, but has considered outside options to ensure this occurs.
