A new remembrance memorial is being planned in Stow to honor children who have died and to create a peaceful space for grieving families.

The Say My Child’s Name Foundation is raising funds for a child-loss remembrance memorial at Adell Durbin Park. The space is designed to be a sacred, reflective place where parents and loved ones can say their child’s name, remember their story, and simply be.

The project was inspired by founder Cindy Billdeau, who says hearing her daughter Abbie’s name brought comfort rather than pain. The memorial is envisioned as a lasting legacy for generations of families.

The memorial’s projected completion date is June 2026.
