Like most cities; Akron has a shortage of nice, new, affordable homes.

But, the good news is there are several new housing developments around town under construction, and one of them–on North Hill–is specifically designed to help people of limited means, become homeowners.

It’s being built by the non-profit organization to which the late President Jimmy Carter devoted much of his life ; Habitat For Humanity.
