Akron’s new Fire Station #12 officially opened at  112 South Hawkins Ave this week, and welcomed members of the community with Open Houses on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The new facility replaces the old, and very out of date Fire Station #12 that dates back to the 1950’s, just a few blocks away at 1852 West Market Street.
