This Week in Tech with Jeanne Destro-10-28-22: Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!

Written by

Ohio's ongoing Manufacturing renaissance means so much more for job seekers than just opportunities in big headline-grabbing facilities like Intel's Chip plant, and Honda's new EV battery facility.

According to the CEO of Northeast Ohio's Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network (MAGNET); Ethan Karp, those big name projects are just the tip of the iceberg, and now is the time for anyone looking for a job in the tech sector to look for almost limitless career opportunities with manufacturers statewide.

Listen now to our conversation with US Senator Sherrod Brown, and Magnet CEO, Ethan Karp, about how manufacturing can be a great pathway to tech career success.

By the way, if you would like to actually get help with finding a job in manufacturing; a great place to start is at MAGNET's new Manufacturing, Innovation, Technology, and Jobs Center, at the corner of 63rd Street and Chester Avenue, in Cleveland. They are holding a community open house today, October 28th, from 1:30PM-6PM.
