Akron Police have released body worn camera footage from the officer-involved shooting the early morning of February 22nd, at a home on Ritchie Avenue in West Akron. 

In those videos below, the officers on the scene can be seen and heard instructing a man with a gun just inside the entry way of that home to drop his weapon several times.

The man refused those commands, eventually retreating back inside the house. SWAT was called in and eventually, they moved in, where they found two people, 21-year-old Lawrence LeJames Rodgers and 38-year-old Raymond Jones dead.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
