The Akron Public Schools Board of Education has officially made an offer to their next potential superintendent, marking an historical moment in the district.
Christine Fowler-Mack will become the first woman to lead the district since Akron Public Schools was formed in 1847.

Fowler-Mack comes from Cleveland City Schools and is a graduate of East High School.
