Akron Police have arrested a woman in connection to a recent stabbing in the city.
Back on October 6th, about 3:20 p.m., police were called to the 1500 block of Copley Road to a parking lot where a woman was stabbed. There, the 18-year-old victim told police that she had a flat tire and pulled into a nearby parking lot. She was approached by the suspect and was stabbed while sitting in her car.
The victim was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital by a good samaritan where she was treated and released.
Just this week, police have arrested 23-year-old Deasianet Scruggs of Akron (pictured) who is now charged with Felonious Assault.
It's unclear the motive for the attack.
