Grinding his way from marginal player to championship coach, Nick Harris has built something special with Ellet Community Learning Center girls basketball.

In just five seasons, Harris has turned the Lady Orangemen into the City Series’ most dominant program.

Ellet enters Wednesday night’s league championship game against the Buchtel Griffins riding a 47-game City Series winning streak and eyeing a fifth straight title.

Despite being heavy favorites, Harris says his team can’t relax, especially against a league that keeps getting tougher. With a young roster, strong playoff experience, and an all-out style of play, Ellet is focused on finishing strong and carrying momentum into the Div. III tournament.
