I simply cannot help myself. I am unreasonably delighted by the Ohio State Fair’s new butter cow sculptures each year. It’s an Ohio thing, I guess, and IYKYK.

So, “low” and behold, here are this year’s butter cow exhibits, that you can see in person if you mosey on down to Columbus starting Thursday, July 23, for the Ohio State Fair, which will be open through August 3.

Of course there’s a lot more than just lovely, buttery cows at the fairgrounds, which will be filled with wondrous attractions including a lumberjack contest, a circus tent, pig races, camel rides, and even Smokey the Bear.

But wait, there’s more!

You can also enjoy things like chain saw carving, fine arts, dog agility trials, concerts with big name artists, along with lots of great food and free music.
