Firestone CLC Theatre is inviting audiences to step directly into the courtroom with its upcoming production of The Night of January 16th, running January 22 through 25.
The play, written by Ayn Rand, turns the traditional theater experience on its head by making audience members part of the action. Each performance features a live jury made up of audience volunteers who decide the fate of the main character, meaning no two shows are ever the same.
Directed by Kristeena Feldman, the production explores themes of ambition, morality, and truth through the trial of Karen Andre, accused of murdering powerful financier Bjorn Faulkner.
“This show challenges audiences to think deeply about justice and personal responsibility,” Feldman said. “From the moment you walk in, you’re part of the story.”
Performances take place Jan. 22-25 at the Firestone CLC Black Box Theatre.
