Eight people have pleaded guilty in connection with a human trafficking ring operating out of two massage parlors in Warren.

Investigators say the group forced women to live inside the businesses, Tiger Spa and Sunny Spa, and perform sex acts for money. The case stems from a 2023 crackdown known as “Operation Saving Daylight,” led by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

Authorities seized more than $676,000 in cash and assets, which will now be forfeited as part of the plea agreements.

Interestingly, eight of the ten people charged in the case are women. Two additional defendants still have cases pending.

Sentencing for the eight who pleaded guilty is scheduled for March 17 in Trumbull County.
