It’s a big day in Akron, as  three of Goodyear’s US-based Blimps will be flying overhead at various times, in celebration of the Goodyear’s first blimp flight, on June 3rd, 1925.

 

Today, they’ll fly over Akron at 10AM, starting at Wingfoot Lake Park in Mogodore.

 

Then, between 5:00 and 5:30 this evening, they’ll fly over the Mayor’s “State of The City” address, downtown, and also over the Rubberducks game at Canal Park, at 6:30.

 

And, if you miss seeing them today, you’ll have another chance tomorrow, as they’ll be flying over the Akron area starting at 10AM.
