Akron’s youngest innovators will be front and center later this month as Akron Public Schools celebrates the 70th Annual STEM Expo. The milestone event happens Jan. 31 at Ellet Community Learning Center and gives students a chance to showcase original research, engineering projects, and creative problem-solving.
The day also includes the popular Physics Bridge-Breaking Competition, where student-built structures are pushed to their breaking point in front of a live crowd.
Community members are encouraged to attend. APS is also looking for volunteers, judges, and local STEM professionals to help support the next generation of Akron talent.
