Akron Public Schools is hosting a district-wide Talent Fair on Feb. 19 to fill nearly 180 positions for the 2026-2027 school year.

APS is inviting teachers, special education educators, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, custodial staff, child nutrition workers, and other support staff to attend. Candidates can apply and interview on-site during the hiring event.

The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sylvester Small Administration Building in downtown Akron.

APS leaders say they’re focused on attracting top talent and continuing the district’s strong academic progress.
