If winter has you dreaming about fresh air, greener yards, or finally tackling that home project you’ve been putting off, the Akron Home & Garden Show is here to help. The popular event returns to the John S. Knight Center in downtown Akron, from Feb. 13–15, bringing together inspiration, expert advice, and hands-on ideas for homeowners across northeast Ohio.
With more than 200 exhibitors, the show offers a chance to connect face-to-face with trusted local and regional professionals who specialize in home remodeling, landscaping, lawn care, decor, and everything in between.
Whether you’re planning a kitchen update, thinking ahead to outdoor living spaces, or just looking for new ideas, this is one place where inspiration turns into real solutions.
One of the highlights of the weekend is the Carter Lumber Stage, where visitors can enjoy a mix of helpful presentations and family-friendly entertainment. Topics range from Ask a Master Gardener and Landscaping with Edible Plants to Dog Training Essentials, Urban Chicken Farming, and even Princess Story Hour for younger guests. There’s truly something for every age and interest.
The show also celebrates creativity and the outdoors in a big way. Summit Metro Parks will be featured in the Maidenburg Concourse, sharing seeds, seedlings, and expert advice on planting native species at home. Visitors can also learn more about the parks’ “Grow a Wild Backyard” initiative, which encourages healthier outdoor spaces that support pollinators and wildlife.
Summit Artspace will showcase local artists and offer hands-on art activities for the whole family, giving the show an extra creative spark.
