The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities is teaming up with RePlay for Kids to host a special Adapted Toy Giveaway for families, caregivers, educators, and therapists who support children with disabilities.

The event will take place Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 1–4 p.m. at the MCBDD Achievement Center, located at 4691 Windfall Road in Medina.

During the giveaway, attendees can pick up free adapted toys designed to meet the unique physical, cognitive, and developmental needs of children with disabilities. These toys are modified to make play more accessible, helping kids build skills, confidence, and independence.

“Play is such an important part of childhood development, but too many kids with disabilities don’t have access to toys they can use,” said MCBDD Superintendent Stacey Maleckar. “We are so thankful to RePlay for Kids for this giveaway because it helps bridge that gap and ensures every child can experience the joy and learning that comes from play.”

Toys will be available at no cost, while supplies last. Advance registration is required to ensure availability.
