Two men wanted in connection with last week’s shooting in the 300 block of Rose Lane Street SE are now in custody.
North Canton police say Jauron McLeod and Julius Edwards were located shortly before 5 p.m. in Canton by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force. Both were taken into custody without incident.
Authorities say the arrests followed a fast-moving investigation after the Feb. 5 shooting. Major Matthew Buzzard credited Detectives Marceric and King for quickly identifying the suspects and securing arrest warrants.
McLeod and Edwards have both been booked into the Stark County Jail.
