Akron Fire reports three people were injured Tuesday morning in a house fire in the city’s Fairlawn Heights neighborhood.

Two occupants of the home at 2147 Stabler Road, were able to escape the burning building. They were taken to Cleveland Clinic-Akron General in stable condition, and the third person; a firefighter, was treated and released.

The cause of the fire, which occurred at about 2:40AM, is unknown, and an investigation is underway.
