The Ohio Turnpike Commission has issued a travel alert, and is urging motorists to remain vigilant, as the effects of Winter Storm Fern are likely to continue to cause travel-related issues at least through Thursday.
While they do have road crews out spreading salt, and 98 snowplows running 24/7; officials say motorists should pay attention to local Snow Emergency Levels, and to delay travel if possible.
For emergency assistance on the Turnpike and statewide, safely dial #677.
